Welcome to a taste of Band of Frequencies new album, 'Sol Train'. Created by Shannon Sol R. Carroll, Oj Newcomb & Mark Henman, this album offers a great selection of original sounds from a collective of musicians that have been making very fluid sound waves. Their sound is a rootsy concoction of rock 'n' soul, electric guitar and drum driven psychedelic journeys, acoustic ambient jams and laid back grooves. Special guests include Dave Rastovich, Ash Grunwald, James Cox & Terepai Richmond. The album is dedicated to Dylan Clarke, the son of Mal and Di Clarke. Mal was the bass player in Sol’s fathers band, 'Moonstone', who were the resident band at the legendary "Patch' nightclub in Coolangatta in the early 70's. He was a great musician and a brother from another mother. Fly on. The last track on this album runs for 38 minutes and was a jam recorded with OJ playing double bass, Dave Rastovich on Hang drums and Sol playing guitar on George Greenoughs verandah.
