The songs on Embrace are a blend of acoustic intimate songs and more upbeat, bigger-sounding tracks. They all share Sue-Anne’s down-to-earth sincerity and openness about life's trials and tribulations, and give a little taste of what's to come on her next album. The EP was recorded and mixed in Brisbane by Jeff Lovejoy at Blackbox Studios, and is backed by a stellar line- up of musicians, including members of Brisbane's hot local act Afro Dizzi Act.

With her trademark smile and genuine enthusiasm for her craft, it’s pretty clear to see that Sue-Anne is doing what she loves, and doing a fine job of it too. “As I embrace this moment, I embrace all the beauty in my life and I release, all the things that keep me from flying, flying…fly, fly, flyin’.” from the title track to her new EP, Embrace.
